Hi! I'm an engineer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. I use my experience as a songwriter and performer as instincts for my mixing and take pride in being able to understand both sides of making a track come to life; the technical aspects of a balanced mix as well as the artistic side of wanting to find a unique sound for the song at hand.
I strive to create mixes that have character and bring out the best in the song I'm working on. I don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach, as every artist is different and every song has something unique about it to amplify. Though I love working with analog gear, I'm not a purist by any means, and follow my ears to find the result that helps best serve the song. My mixing services are best suited for singer-songwriters and rock bands, though I have also worked on jazz and acoustic music recordings as well. My experience working in jazz has helped me understand how to work with a light touch to preserve the subtleties of a performance. I've also done work in the podcast and audio production world.
Please get in touch if you're curious about what I do and how I can help you on your way. Check out my recordings for a sense of what I do!
