Engineer and producer Beau Cassidy is on the rise as one of Canada's most in-demand music creatives. In 2023 Beau became one of, if not the first, trans person in Canada to win a Juno award in a technical category, for his assistant engineering on Digging Roots' 2022 album 'Zhawenim'.
I am a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer equipped with over eleven years of pro-audio expertise and a BFA in Electroacoustics from Concordia University. I mix and produce in a hybrid style, using both digital and analog approaches to create a custom sound for each clients' stylistic needs. My priority in production and mixing is to do the artistic vision justice and use my skills to render the best mix and final creation for the song's result. I mix in Dolby Atmos as well, and can offer consults on spatial audio to inquiring clients. I specialize in electronic production, mixing and mastering but am comfortable and experienced working in many different genres and idioms.
