Welcome! I am an independent Colombian artist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and arranger. Currently based in Miami, I have 5 years of experience performing both live and in studio for multiple artists. I am a versatile performer when it comes to genres and vibes and I am very passionate and responsible about my craft.
I am a bilingual musician capable of many tasks. I am a trained vocalist and musician (EMMAT - Colombia's Berklee Global Partners), avid percussionist (latin drums and genres), arranger and songwriter. How it usually goes: Send over your tracks and proposal. We'll go back and forth until we're in agreement. Once the project is funded, my job begins! Depending on the complexity, I can have results within the same week.
I appreciate direct and friendly communication. I am open to meeting new colleagues and creating a safe network for us to grow. Whatever it is that the project needs, we'll reach it!

Endorse Nat RuedaInterview with Nat Rueda
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Anamaría Laroc & Lanacrusa. This project debuted with a 3-song EP. I was the songwriter for 2 out of the 3 songs and contributed highly as an arranger in the recording process. You look for it on YouTube ;)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I am latin music oriented 100%. It is the base of my performance, of my execution and of my main influence. I am mostly very tropical oriented-- Salsa, Boleros, Guaguancos, Tropi-pop, Cumbia. However, I love bringing those latin details to Pop, Rock, RnB, Reggae, etc.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually start by defining what the course of the project is: Genre, influences, tempo, key, etc. After I allow myself to go through songs by playing around until the arrangement is clear and set between me and the other people involved.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Starting and growing! Right now I record with my trusty UA Volt 2 interface and my Audio Technica AT2020 condenser microphone. I have a beautiful Meinl Cajon and an Alesis Nitro E-Drum kit.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I have followed closely the work of many artists such as Vale, Nicole Zignago, Juliana Velásquez, Natalia Lafourcade, etc. I also enjoy the work of producers like Vago Galindo, Juan Pablo Vega, etc.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I have mostly acted as a performer, both live and in-studio. Percussion and singing are my main focuses and my colleagues have trusted my criteria and delivery.

I was the sole songwriter, arranger and percussionist in this production
