Shifted Recording was completed in 2016, with design led by Mark Genfan (Skyline, Orb Recording) and additional input from Phil Joly (Head Engineer, Electric Lady) and Frank Comentale (Hit Factory NY, Chung King). Our facility features two separate recording studios, as well as two music production rooms and a spacious lounge. Throughout the building, we've infused a variety of plant life to foster a creative environment like no other in New York. Complete with a vast collection of musical and recording tools, Shifted Recording represents a paradigm shift in what it means to be the modern recording studio for the modern artist.

We specialize in working directly with artists to help produce their demo ideas or produce completely from scratch. We also specialize in tracking, mixing and mastering services.

Our pricing is variable based on your budget and what you need done. No song/project is the same, so pricing will vary based on your needs!

Shifted is by far the most next-level studio/production houses I've been to in NYC. All of the guys there are super friendly, and the atmosphere of the space surpasses what you'd get at a traditional recording studio. Be prepared to make crazy dope music every time you visit!
