Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Doing a volunteer work in which we recorded an Ep of 4 songs; I realized that the impulse to make music is not the money, but the passion for the sound.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I really appreciate the nuance of analog, but I appreciate more the versatility and speed that comes with digital.

A: I will do my best to make your music shine and make you proud of the final sound.

A: To make the sounds sound better than I received them and get to the essence of each song.

A: If a bad recording can be improved; my answer depends on the type of problem I have, but I will always be able to do something good.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That the post-production processes are undervalued and the difference in quality of the final product is not appreciated.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I like to listen first and then ask; the first thing I want to know is what is the emotionality of the song, what emotions do you want your music to evoke and secondly if you want it to sound like a specific artist or song.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Acoustic genres such as Pop, Rock, R&B, Ballads, Jazz, Gospel. But I also work in genres like Hip Hop, Trap and Reggaeton.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Let him listen to his work first, but don't just look at the genres he has produced in to hire him, many engineers are multi-faceted and can mix and master many more genres.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I wouldn't go anywhere without my Beyerdynamic 880 Pro, but I would bring 4 plugins: Hofa EQ, Compressor U17, Abbey Road Chambers and the ADTPR.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started DJing at the age of 15 and during my teenage and young adult years I stayed in the live sound scene, until I got to know studio production and stayed producing in studios until today. I've been producing in recording studios for 6 years
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Emotional, accurate and of high quality.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: With Juanes, he represents a lot of history for the industry, I am especially attracted to his musical evolution and I like and am inspired by his sound.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Of course, to mix and master in the best possible way, the most important thing is to have an effective monitoring system.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Critical listening and noise detection.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my passion and all the quality I can give, through the depth and cleanliness of each sound, without forgetting the panoramas to give movement to the song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The first thing I do is to take the tracks to Pro Tools and organize them by groups, percussion, gtr, bass, vocals, etc. Then I listen to the content, if everything is ok, I start to edit and clean the audios channel by channel and then I start the good stuff 😁 which is to start with the mix: percussion first, vocals last.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work "in the box" on the Pro tools 12 HD, I monitor in two ways, with my Beyerdynamic headphones and their RNPH headphone amp or I switch to Kali monitors. It all depends on the content I'm doing.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Colombian musician Juanes, Colombian engineer Camilo Silva, mix engineer Josh Gudwin and master Colin Leonad.

A: I do mixing and mastering most of the time, but I also edit for YouTube shows.
