Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I typically work in short intervals to avoid ear fatigue. I listen to the client's song first, imagine what should be up front and in the back, and start by gain staging and go from there. I make several revisions after the mix and listen to it back on various playback systems (car, AirPods, laptop speakers etc...) to make sure it sounds dialed in and tight.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I use Pro Tools to edit and mix the audio, and Maschine to produce the music. I have an Apollo Twin X interface, UAD plug ins, and Yamaha HS5 monitors for mixing and mastering.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Glass Animals, especially Dave Bayley the lead singer. He does a lot of the production himself and I am firm advocate of solo work. Not in a bias way, I do love collaborating. But when it comes to making something really personal and perfect just the way you want it, I thrive in solo writing environments, which is one of the reasons I open my serves up to ghost write.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Song writing and mixing/mastering music. I am very collaborative and sit down with clients to dial in the sound they have in the vision and make it personal and professional
