Hello! I've been a Nashville-based producer/mixer since 2019, usually working in the indie rock, folk, and pop genres (but if it's anything indie I'll probably love it!). My goal is to bring out the best in your song, and support emotional as much as possible!
Why I'm the right pick!
I understand the fear of sending hard work to a stranger, years ago I'd send my own music to a mixer. If it's one thing I can promise you, it's that I'll care about your mix as if it was my own music. I'd love to help you find the right sound for your record and make all your prior work worth it!
As a multi-instrumentalist and producer, I can relate to your songs through many different lenses, and then make better-informed decisions on what will connect the listener to the song.
Education
I graduated Berklee College of Music with a bachelors in Music Production and Engineering, and since then I've closely studied mixers like Andrew Scheps and Michael Brauer to further refine my workflow.

Endorse Jarred HahnInterview with Jarred Hahn
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I take a lot of my production philosophy from older-style producers like Rick Rubin, and it's my dream to become a full-time producer, working with bands to capture the most emotional and true version of the record possible. I recently had the opportunity for this style of production working with local Nashville artist DelGrosso. I filled the role effectively (never played on the record!) and we're all super pleased with the resulting EP.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I run an Apollo x8p into either my laptop or PC, and I do all my processing in the box. I produce in Ableton Live 10, Logic Pro X, and ProTools, and have most industry standard tools like FabFilter, SoundToys, Waves CLA, Melodyne, AutoTune, etc. I have an assortment of guitars, basses, synths, and microphones I record with, and software instruments like Serum, Kontakt, UAD Minimoog, etc.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Sound and Color - Alabama Shakes / Shawn Everett is a record I go back to often for inspiration in every aspect I can imagine. The craft and creativity of Finneas, Kevin Parker, and Andrew Scheps also inspire me deeply. My favorite mix of last year was Hold It Together - The Marias, and my most listened to artist was Everything Everything!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most commonly, I'll help an artist every step of the way, taking their song from demo to Spotify!
