Expressive violinist/string arranger ranging fiddle to orchestral to experimental
With a sharp technical ear and expressive playing style, I'm a a classically-trained violinist who can add violin melodies or orchestral layers to any song. I've worked in country, rap, pop, experimental, and rock, although folk is my homebase. I've played with or recorded for Lindsey Stirling, Weird Al Yankovic, Colin Hay, Mon Rovia, and more (see www.kai-gara.com/about for more creds/samples). I love using strings to make a song feel cinematic and impactful, and will work til it's perfect!
