I don't produce to hear myself, I produce to help your songwriting hit harder.
When I made my first album, my agency and vision were stepped on by producer bros, so I became a producer. Many artists I've worked with have a similar story, and when they tell me "this is the first time I feel like I've realized what my sound is", I know I've stuck it to producer bros everywhere.
I'm gonna make you listen to yourself in ways you might be avoiding, and I'm going to get invested in your cause. I'm also going to give you the terminology to describe what you want, because that's what helped me. My job is to coax the best possible performance out of you, and help you connect to your emotions while doing so. Its a vulnerable thing, and I pride myself on being someone that makes artists feel comfortable.
I have a background in orchestral music, 90% of what I listen to is pop, and most people know me for folk. My favorite thing is to record outside and in unconventional environments. Check out my live series Wild Hunt Sessions to see all the places I've recorded in.
My mixing and mastering rate are for my exceptionally skilled team members who I package with to make label quality songs, I only produce. I work from the 2nd floor of a horse stable about 1.5 hours from NYC. My typical process with SoundBetter clients has been doing a song remotely, and if it goes well, coming to the farm to work on a handful of songs.

Kyle is so amazing!!!! He beautifully brought my ideas to life as well as offering his own ideas that made the song better. Easy to work with and communicate with, and I can tell he worked hard to make the song sound exactly how I wanted. Lovely experience overall!
Kyle presented a well organized session at the international bluegrass music association on promoting your own music. It was clear he spent a ton of time putting the presentation and we all learned a lot as a result
I had the pleasure of recording an acoustic set and accompanying video with Kyle earlier this year. So knowledgeable, capable, and efficient! The mixes I’ve received sound pristine and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you, Kyle :’)
Kyle is the BEST!!!! I have never recorded anything before and was so nervous, but Kyle was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding with me the whole time. He really focuses on making sure you get what YOU want out of this experience and encouraging your creative ideas.I am so proud of what we created, it turned out just right, thanks to Kyle. He’s a delight to work with and I wholeheartedly recommend him!!!
Working with Kyle couldn’t have been a better experience. Through his capturing-the-moment production style, as well as through his consistently positive attitude, the experience I had working with him on my music was fantastic.
Magnificent! It is clear immediately and proven time-and-time again how deeply he cares for each song he produces (or even just interacts with at all). His creativity, passion, drive, and genuine love for the musical projects he is involved in definitively set him apart from other producers, and he is already developing a distinct style early on in what is hopefully a long career: because artists and listeners both deserve his remarkable work.
Quick turn-around, communicative, and a really good listener. I would definitely work with him again!
Interview with Aryeh
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Me, bitch.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I don't master music I produce, someone else is supposed to do it. The entire point is to have a 2nd pair of ears, otherwise its just additional mixing.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Neko Case, no one else's music makes me feel so seen.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listen.
