Looking for tight licks and riffs? Let's work together! I've been playing guitar for 14 years, mainly technical and progressive metal. Anyway, I want to point out I'm also interested on working on different genres, so as to extend my knowledge in as many musical contexts as possibile. That said, hit me up if you need a session guitarist!
I play guitar in Clairvoyance (Progressive Metalcore/Djent), Kayron(Alternative Metal/Rock), Regression In Entrophia (Technical Deathcore/Djent), Ego The Enemy (Progressive Metal/Mathcore/Jazz).
I also took part in several projects even out of Italy as a studio session guitarist, both to record already written tracks or rearrange them. I've even wrote tracks solely just as a songwriter on behalf of thirds.
As formerly stated, even if the most I've been doing was related to the metal/rock genre I'm highly interested to work on different genres as well, so as to thrive in terms of musical knowledge.
Right now I'm attending the "Professional Guitar Course I" at "NAM", a modern music academy located here in Milan, by strongly focusing on musical theory, harmony, technique and on genres such as jazz, pop, blues and so on.
Talking about my services, I'll be more than glad to:
- Record both rhythm and lead guitars for your project
- Write guitars for your project
- Write a whole song for you
- Adjust riffs you consider to be "off", in order to make them sound more dynamic
- Playthrough video shooting
All the recorded tracks I send are .WAV, edited and ready-to-mix.

I worked several times with Giacomo as a session guitarist and I’m seriously impressed.
He’s very talented, DIs are flawless and he’s so versatile.
If you’re looking for a session guitarist for a project he’s the right personGiacomo is one of the nicest people I've ever worked with. He is an incredible guitar player and songwriter. I hired him to help me with three songs. All the tracks he wrote were amazing. Aside from writing sheet music, he also programmed drums and other instruments. He really spares no effort to deliver high-quality work. The work was done in a very timely fashion. I would highly recommend Giacomo to anyone who needs a great composer/guitarist!
Giacomo is one of the best guitar players I met so far and personally know.
We worked together in various occasions and his creativity / technicality is unparalleled in various genres.
He’s also very serious in completing objectives and his turnaround times are amazing.
10/10 worth itAmazing guitarist and overall musician, great composer and true professional. If you need a guitar track for your song, Giacomo is the right person to record it, highly recommended!
Interview with Giacomo Bonfadini
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: An electric guitar, my Pc, some back-up batteries, an external audio device and an audio monitor
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing guitar for 14 years so far. At the very beginning it was just an hobby, namely spending hours strumming basic chords, but shortly after I started to dive deep into this world, by taking lessons for a couple of years and then as a self-taught guitarist. During all of these years I honed my technique along with my songwriting skills and I took part in different band mostly in the modern metal/rock scene here in Italy, but recently I've even cooperated with overseas project as a studio session guitarist and songwriter. With some of these bands I played as an opening act for some prominent bands in the metal genre, such as Loathe, Origin, Bleed From Within, Make Them Suffer, Novelists.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I reckon it's quite technical, but with a strong emphasis on melody and feeling. I always try to experiment in order to find unconventional but yet working solutions for my own songs and those on which I have to work. To give you a feel, my main influences are Brandon Ellis(The Black Dahlia Murder), Aaron Marshall (Intervals), John Petrucci, David Maxim Micic
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually take care of the guitar recording and writing part. It all depends by what I'am asked to do. Sometimes I'm required to just tracking the guitar parts as they've been already written without changing a single note, or rearrange them by following some guidelines provided by the customer. To be honest, the latter type of work it's what excites me most, since I'm really excited about implementing other people's music with new solutions put over the different sections of a song.
