Endorse Norman CeriottiI was working on a a thrash project and only had programmed drums, but I wanted real feel and sound to the track. Norman provided this and highly exceeded my expectations by a huge margin. Don’t hesitate to hire this guy for your next project, he gives it his all and makes sure you are happy with the finished product!🤘🏾🤘🏾
We worked together. One of the most serious people I’ve worked with. It was a pleasure to play together
Norman is extremely nice to work with and always provides stunning results, couldn't be more satisfied!
I was looking for the perfect drummer to replace all programmed drums on my Melodic Death Metal solo project, Debut Album, when I saw a FB video of Norman playing, immediately contacted him and I was surprise how fast and easy is to work with him, very profesional, serious and a great person, the funny thing is that all of my drummer friends thing I got better at programming Lol, cause Norman playing is so tight that he beats any drum machine, at the end I got to show them the videos of him performing the songs as he was recording and then they were speechless, you won’t regret hiring Norman.
I've had the pleasure of working with Norman on a few projects. He is always fast, fun, efficient and has a lot of positive input. Very happy to have worked with him.
Stormcrow, black metal band from Milan had the privilege of having Norman as session drummer.
One month before a date on which we had to support Belphegor and Batushka we didn't have a drummer, we contacted Norman and within a month he prepared the lineup that we had to bring to that date.
Without any problem he prepared pieces at 230/240 bpm and the date was a success!!
Norman is a drummer to have, technical, fast, professional and above all a great person.
honored to have shared the stage with him!Serious and professional guy!
Hello fellow band members that chose Norman Ceriotti for your drum session. You want double bass in your face. Where Lack of Foresight Quebec(canada) and did the best choice ever choosing Norman, Norman does it exactly like you want it to sound, including correcting all lages and defaults. why look elsewhere. Norman ceriotti is a real deal and trust me anyone chosing Norman ceriotti from Defamed will definitely not be disappointed. Everything you need' he's the guy for the job. Peace to all👊👊
I have known Norman for several years, and I can say that he is an highest level drummer . We have turned to him several times, always obtaining extremely high quality products. He is a serious professional who can provide several solutions that often improve the song, absolutely one of the best of its kind in Italy.
Norman is a very kind person and very professional!
He taught me a lot of things in a very short time!
Thanks to him I was able tu use a double pedal in 1 year!! Impressive!!
I recommend Norman, if you want a good teacher or session Drummer!! His sound is very cool!
Ps.
I'm a sound engineer..Norman tracked drums for all songs on our 2021 space metal album, and we're super happy with the results! No matter whether ballad, fast-paced double-bassdrum action, or unconventional time signature and tempo changes, every track was delivered in an outstanding quality, and also rapidly. What's more, Norman contributed his own ideas in parts that weren't fully fleshed out yet. He's a great guy to work with, always friendly, very professional, and highly recommended!
Norman is the most talented drummer I've ever known. He puts passion and love in everything he does, with infinite joy and politeness.
He is skilled and very precise, totally recommended!Norman is an incredible musician and a great person overall. Super talented, very precise, attentive and reliable at anything he does, but also serious and down to earth.

Norman is an excellent musician with a great taste and a super caring attitude: he surely delivers quality tracks with maniac attention to details, a professional with a very human, calm, focused yet relaxed way of working and interacting. Totally recommended!
Norman is hands down an incredible drummer, very skilled teacher and amazing persone
I had the chance to work alongside him while producing some music and the amount of attention to detail he puts in is insane, nailing it every time even via gut feeling.
But mostly, Norman is an amazing human being very easy to interact with and emanating a calm yet focused aura, so you’re in safe hands.
The most satisfyng thing is receiving his drums and enjoying the way he trasforms the music, highly recommended!
One of the tightest and most creative drummers in the game. Also, a very professional and easy-going dude. Highly recommended

Interview with Norman Ceriotti
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am really proud about Defamed. The band started in 2019 and from day one our music had been really appreciated from deathcore and extreme metal fans from all around the world. In a few years we already have millions of views on YouTube and millions of streams on Spotify, that's crazy! I am one of the composers of the band, the drummer and one of the people behind the social networks and promotion ads management.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will give it all to make them happy and satisfied about my job on their songs.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The creative aspect of it. Everyday is different and that's what I love both in session gigs and during lessons.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Sometimes people think I just play 300 bpm extreme metal stuff and avoid asking me to work on other kinds of music. Truth is I graduated playing jazz, rock, pop and funk music and I love playing it. Metal is the genre that gave me more work during the past years, thanks to the skills I developed, but I really love every kind of music and I'd be super happy to work on something different!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Snare drum, bass drum, hihat, drumsticks and bass drum pedal, that's all I need to be happy!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been working as a full time professional musician since 2017. I started as a drum teacher and session drummer and after some years I started working as a drum coach and ads/social media manager for artists too. At the moment I teach in two music academies in Italy and to private students from all around the world. I play full time in Defamed, Clairvoyance, Ego the Enemy, Locus Animae and many other bands and as a session drummer, I recorded and played live shows for more than 60 different bands in many different countries.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Creative and virtuoso on some kinds of music, groovy and in the pocket on others.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on extreme metal, but I am always happy to play other kinds of music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think my strongest skill is creativity. I love to write new music and to challenge myself with interesting drum parts, always aiming to enhance the track I am working on. During the years I've been working a lot on technique in order to increase my skills and be able to play whatever the song demands to me without limitations. This way I can play really technical stuff or in the pocket with ease depending on what the band/artist needs for the track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My main drum set is a Pearl Reference with 10" and 12" rack toms, 14", 16" and 18" floor toms and 22" bass drum. I also own a jazz size Pearl Special Edition Mahogany with 12" rack tom, 14" floor tom and 18" bass drum. I have a 13" Pearl Reference, a 13" Pearl Masters, a 14" Dixon Artisan Brass, a 14" Pearl Ferrone Signature and a 10" Bully Custom snare drums. I own many different Diril cymbals and can use them depending on the sound you are searching for. I can record up to 16 different tracks at once and am using Focusrite audio devices and Shure and AKG microphones.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly work as a session drummer for studio and live gigs. The kind of music I play the most is extreme metal because I've been working in that scene for many years. Anyway, I really love every kind of music and am always super happy to work on different genres.
