I co-wrote six songs on Ronan Keating's Time Of My Life (UK № 4, 2016), including the lead single "Breathe" — A-list on BBC Radio 2 and Triple J Australia. Today: production for Universal UK and Umusic Romania.

My daily work is producing and co-writing — understanding the artist's vision and building their dream song together.

Although I've worked with huge names in the music indsutry and most of the major labels, some of my favourite work is with passionate amateurs — people who aren't full-time musicians but have been carrying a melody around for years. The bar is the song, not the resume. Whether you've released ten records or zero, if you've got something to say, that's what I'm looking for.

A growing part of the work is also rebuilding Suno and Udio demos into releasable records. AI-generated audio now gets flagged and demonetised across Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music — you can't just lay your vocal over an AI instrumental and ship it any more. You don't just need a producer. You need a re-producer — someone who takes the feeling of the AI demo and rebuilds it from scratch. I play every instrument myself, program the parts that should be programmed, and bring in live musicians when the track calls for it.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I enjoy working on all genres of music but i mainly specialise in singer songwriter pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ability to bring out the best in people.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: 20 years of experience playing, songwriting and producing.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I receive the song from the client and then we talk about influences, genres, feelings, moods. I usually work up a rough production then we do the vocals together or remote to get the perfect performance. From there i work closely with the client to finish their track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: OUTBOARD - AMS Neve dual mic pre, Universal Audio 610b mic Pre, Universal Audio 1176, Berhinger V-Verb Outboard reverb (Lexicon Lawsuit Model).
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: The Beatles, Crowded house, Squeeze, Jason Mraz.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I work a lot with clients who are great songwriters and turn their idea in full productions with full instrumentation.
