Passion for music is what drives me, self taught, I paid my dues in the last 35 chasing the dream. What I am and I do now is just a natural evolution in my musical quest.

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: Dolby Atmos mixes

  3. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  4. A: Passionate and motivated ones. I can make anybody sound good but... they have to want it and work for it.

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: Hard work always beats talent that doesn't work hard. It's not only the tools, it's how you use them.

  7. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  8. A: Pop, rock, choral, acoustic instruments (violin, sax, etc.).

  9. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  10. A: Immersive audio. Understanding and getting the right vocal and instruments ambience in post production.

  11. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  12. A: Astonishing immersive sound and feel of music. Beauty of good sounding vocals and instruments, dynamics.

  13. Q: What's your typical work process?

  14. A: Import song stems into DAW, mix properly, add ambiance (if needed). Add panning and movement. Mix and master into ADM Dolby Atmos immersive format.

  22. A: Start analog, tubes are the best. Follow up digital.

  23. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  24. A: I call it how I see it. Life is too short to compromise just for profits.

  25. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  26. A: All of it. Because is not a job, it's a pleasure.

  27. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  28. A: People not realizing how personal music is for me. Money is vital but not the most important.

  29. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  30. A: What's you end goal, where are you on that path and how motivated are you?

  31. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  32. A: An acoustic guitar would keep me sane. My workflow is project oriented, I would first figure out what I want to achieve and then find a way.

  33. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  34. A: I'm one of the lucky ones, living my dream of doing music, learned it all the hard way by myself in the last 35 years.
