  4. A: Recording, mixing of 4 singles for two singer song-writer / producers.

  6. A: Digital,Reduced complexity. Analog processing may produce unplanned changes.

  7. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  8. A: What are you requirements on clarity of any recordings? What kind of sound /style do u like and from what sources if any What kind of space / environment do u imagine listening to the audio in. What may be your theme or desired emotion or state of mind from the product? What are your priorities of the various tracks / elements? Which parts do you not want, touched? Which parts do you not mind being overlooked? Which parts would you be more creative with?

  9. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  10. A: Just prepare and send recordings and samples of the audio.

  11. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  12. A: Acoustical, instrumental, choral, electronic, hybrid orchestral, synth pop.

  14. A: Reducing standouts.

  16. A: Overall acoustic picture balance or more warmness to the sounds closer to frequencies of speech.

(2)Little to some gain staging(I prefer to use your preferred volume as i receive them) (3)Small realignments(if any that's obvious to me or as u direct) (4)Small EQ changes initially to highlight the various elements you'd like. (5)Small effects unless stated otherwise. (6)

  20. A: Vocal & instrumental mixing, small band or solo artist.

  21. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  22. A: Multiple revisions as required.

  23. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  24. A: Mixing to produce atmosphere or warmness.

  25. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  26. A: Equalizer, limiter, expander, saturator and chorusing gears.

  27. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  28. A: Over half a year

  29. Q: How would you describe your style?

  30. A: Closer to listeners and not in a gigantic overcrowded stadium. Warmer sounds closer to the frequencies of speech.

  31. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  32. A: A lot of noise or unwanted sound may be recorded, whether we hear it or not. But, reducing as much as possible, as early as possible, makes mixing and compiling a lot smoother and clear when it all comes together in mixing. No surprising noise!
