My name is Christian, I've been in the music and audiovisual industry for more than 20 years.
I am patient, responsive, dedicated, creative and very passionate about my work.
My mixing career began in 1997 and mastering since 2006, working for artists from Spain, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, in all kinds of styles.
My portfolio of sound postproduction and sound design works includes clients such as NatGeo, Discovery Channel, A&E, Paramount, MTV, among others.
My works as an original music composer includes clients such as Chevrolet, Paramount, iSAT, TVE (Spain TV), Sap Latinoamérica, and many Argentine advertising and TV programs.
I have my own studio in Buenos Aires (@421.soundlab) from where I work for the whole world.

Interview with Christian Bocon
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started playing the guitar at the age of 6. From that moment on, my passion for music grew day by day and continues to this day. Over time, I worked in different areas related to music production, as a session guitarist, mixing and mastering engineer, and finally an extensive career in music composition and sound post-production for audiovisual media. Today I really enjoy mixing and mastering, as well as composing music and post-producing audio, finding in each project a reason to remain in love with my profession.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Many of my jobs make me very proud when I see that clients receive more than they expected, but citing a special moment, I remember that when Paramount Latam launched their movie channel, they commissioned me to compose the original music for the commercial. I had certain directives to follow along with the rhythm of certain moments in the piece, and yet the perfect mood and great emotionality was achieved in the song. The client was very happy with the results, which made me very proud.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Open ears and mind and a lot of passion for my work and most importantly: Respect for yours.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by each of the professionals and artists in the industry who do their job brilliantly. I admire creativity and excellence over style.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Through more than 20 years working in the music and audiovisual industry, my experience has been increasing in different areas. Currently, clients contact me to produce songs, mix and master their musical projects, as well as to compose the music or sound design for their audiovisual projects. All this diversity allows me to have a truly global vision of all the processes of the entertainment industry, and it makes my daily work much more fun!
