Anupam Ghosh ( a.k.a Treasoner ) is a Guitarist, Composer and Producer with an experience over wide field of genres over the years. Treasoner picked up his first guitar at an age of 14, since then he has been more into developing his songwriting and guitar skills. Although, a self taught journey into this diverse field of music has taught him to work with bands, freelance musicians , and take a step into learning sound engineering & DAW working skills.
While with all the creative skills to his horizon, he has been able to learn & write Albums, Singles and Scores. He currently is an Electrical Engineer and works for a Nu-Metal Band "Shiverwood Shade" ( as a Lead guitarist, Composer, Producer, Backing Vocalist ) as well as for his "Treasoner Project". Over the years, he has developed a good ear and song writing ability along with his creative guitar based ideas. He has received several awards and positive comments from big names around the industry.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Treasoner, I still do and I've reached a good stage after years of hard work behind it.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: As a writer at Displaced Music, LA, US.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. They are good in their own places while talking about production .
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Job done as per said on time.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Meeting new people and learning about their working style.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I'm a self taught.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Always happy to work.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Guitar, Capo, Pair of strings, Laptop, Food and Water.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Been into the music scene for 9 years now. Always been a music enthusiast and still into it. At first, recording/ composing with cheap recorders by overdubs/over layered recording then learning to write on Guitar Pro to Learning Mixing and recording own tracks on DAW's.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Creative, driven towards Soft to Rock to Metal.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: There are many, no reason why.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Train your ears and listen to the song you've produced till the 100th time. If it hits the same as it did to you the 1st time, you did your job well.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Acoustic, Country, Modern Blues, Soft Rock, Background Scores and Alternative/Nu Metal.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: As a Guitarist, Composer and Producer.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Music is a means to communicate, if it can bring the feelings shared by the song. I consider the job done.
