  1. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  2. A: I love the fact of knowing that one of the tracks that I've mixed has had a positive influence on a person. wether it be they love dancing to it or just enjoy listening to em.

  3. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  4. A: biggest misconception is that what we do is just move faders up and down and its "super easy".

  5. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  6. A: how did you hear about me? whats you vision on this? whats your style? what is your favorite track and why is it your favorite?

  7. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  8. A: look for some one that isn't out there to make a quick buck on you. make sure they are legit and have a proven track record.

  9. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  10. A: 1. My ears/ thats all I ever need.

  11. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  12. A: I started in the audio industry when I was 14 years old. I started out as a live audio tech and progressively started to fall in love with studio work.

  13. Q: How would you describe your style?

  14. A: My style of mixing is very old school. I love me some big drums and big vocals in every track.

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: I have found over the years that my passion truly lies in mixing a project. theres just a special magic for me that makes me feel the same way as when I started this journey every time I mix a new project.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: My main focus on any album is to fully capture its essence and not distort the message it carries, yet making it more clear and acceptable so that all listeners around the world receive it!

  19. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  20. A: I work on a lot of ballads/top40

  21. Q: What's your typical work process?

  22. A: First I listen, then organize and mix.

  23. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  24. A: My set up is fairly simple. I have a pair of my go to monitors which are the yamaha's hs7, My preferred Studio Headphones are the shure srh880's . My DAW is Logic Pro X. When I have big projects I out source to vanquish studios and mix there.

  25. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  26. A: I study and learn a lot from Chris Lord Alge and my mentor Mix Engineer Jose Lopez.

  27. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  28. A: Where I spend lots of my time is mixing. Most of my clients trust me with their vision of their track or album and really enjoy the way my mix sounds compared to others.
