Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Dance Music

A: Energy, warmth, creativity, authenticity, but most of all a high degree of clarity, separation, and response.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Hustle until the project is done! ha
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Early on, I went through the arduous process of learning about acoustics and how the different shapes and sizes of rooms have an incredibly large affect on the audio response received at the listening position when producing, or at any other location in the room, respectively. Peaks and troughs created by room nodes are everyones worst enemy, and the only way to deal with this is with broadband absorption and diffusion, both of which I employ in my professional studio and built myself, designed specifically to curtail the frequency response issues my unique space exhibits. This in turn, creates a reflection free listening position that is highly accurate in frequency response, allowing me to make precise, correct, mixing decisions while working on music.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I have worked on projects ranging from sound design for a bluetooth speaker company to professional recording/mixing/mastering for vocalists at million dollar studios in San Diego. My personal studio at this point has become somewhat of an absolute weapon for my creative process, utilizing some of the best outboard gear and plugins available allows me to write really high quality content for my own alias, Jamison Daniel, or anyone else who needs my services.
