I'm new here to Soundbetter, but not new to the world of mixing! Mixing has always been what I wanted to do with my life ever since I got my hands on my first microphone. I started out going to Schoolcraft College for a degree in Music Recording Technology and then headed to the Soundscape Studio in Royal Oak Michigan to finish out my schooling where I interned and became an assistant engineer. After that, I set my sites on working in bigger studios and ended up working at the Chicago Recording Company, where I worked as an assistant engineer with great artists like Jeremih and Cody Chestnutt.

While I love working in studios, I really enjoy remote mixing at my home studio where I work in a hybrid setup. I've been working freelance for around 12 years now, and I love getting the chance to directly work with musicians on their music. My goal is to make the artists I work with feel like their opinion is the most important thing. I've seen too many mixing engineers speak as though their opinion is set in stone, and that's not what music is about. I love collaborating, and I love giving you the space and time to make as many changes as you need to get your music to where you want it to go.
