I'm new to SoundBetter, but certainly not new to mixing! Mixing has been what I've wanted to do ever since I got my hands on my first microphone. I studied Music Recording Technology at Schoolcraft College before continuing my education at Soundscape Studio in Royal Oak, Michigan, where I interned and became an assistant engineer. From there, I worked at Chicago Recording Company, assisting on projects with artists including Jeremih and Cody Chestnutt.

I've been working freelance for around 15 years, and while I love working in professional studios, I really enjoy remote mixing from my home studio, where I work in a hybrid setup. My favorite part of the job is working directly with artists and helping bring their vision to life.

I believe making music should be fun. The process of creating something together is a huge part of what makes music special, and I think the human element behind a song is more important than ever. I love bringing my own ideas to a project, whether that's a production suggestion, a creative effect, or a little detail that helps the song come alive. But ultimately, it's your music. If an idea isn't right for you, that's completely fine. My job is to help you explore possibilities and get the song to a place that feels right to you.
