Cheba Blendl on SoundBetter

Singer-Songwriter and Producer specialized in Latin-American genres, Pop, Rock and Film Music. You can check my work and hopefully we can work together. and a music and lyrics lover.

I believe that songs have their own nature, that is why I like to play with different melodic proposals until I find the one that enhances that nature. I also love composing music from given texts; poems, lyrics or just words that want to make their way into a song. The complexity of the song (harmony, melody or structure) will always be at your discretion or, failing that, what the song itself asks for. Sometimes I like to see the act of composing as child's play.

As a producer I am very meticulous with the arrangement since I believe that the act of producing is nothing more than dressing up an idea that already works by itself, disguising it as a genre or even just detailing sections so that the song and the message go deeper. I am open to a wide variety of genres and I am very happy listening to proposals. I'm sure your song can cause a lot of emotions regardless of the genre!

I´m offering:

- Full Music Production (Singles / EP´s / Albums)
- Session Recording (Bass / Acoustic Guitar / Synths / Pianos)
- Songwriting (Music and/or Lyrics / Melody)
- Arranger / Orchestrator
- Edition (I love edition)
- Mixing / Mastering

We're going to make beautiful music, I'm sure of it. 💜 Send me your ideas.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: For production I usually start working very early in the morning. I drink coffee and play all day with the song. And for Songwriting works I usually begin writing at night. I have very specific rituals like listening to acousmatic music or put some background noises.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I love my studio because it´s very warm and homelike, I work in a small place but with a lot of instruments so it´s like being on a spaceship.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: I am really inspired by movie themes composers, specially Johnny Greenwood, Ludwig Göransson or Daniel Hart, because they not only see music as an orchestral score, they can make pop music, rock music, R&B and everything else.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I work a lot producing songs of my colleagues, I enjoy a lot of the arrangement process and also they call me a lot to make Film Music, I even have my IMDB profile and I enjoy it a lot. Lately I have been working on lyrics, writing them and correcting them.
