Colorful Records Made To Order

LostBeat6 on SoundBetter

From dreamy psychedelia to hard-hitting rock, Lost Beat 6 creates bold, vibrant records through professional production, recording, mixing, and mastering. We combine laid-back collaboration with an artist-first approach, helping musicians across rock, alternative, jazz, Americana, post-rock, and beyond turn great songs into unforgettable records.

Lost Beat 6 is the creative team of Stephen Coler and Kentucky Clawson, who over the last ten years have developed an eclectic sound drawing influences from heavy alternative, funk, jazz, Americana, psychedelia, and world music. Their work lives at the intersection of technical precision and creative exploration, blending punchy mixes, rich textures, and bold production into records that feel both polished and unmistakably human.

Lost Beat 6 collaborates with artists at every stage of the creative process—from shaping the earliest demos to delivering release-ready masters. Whether crafting expansive post-rock soundscapes, capturing intimate performances, or building vibrant, genre-bending productions, the goal is always the same: to create records that amplify an artist's vision without sacrificing what makes it unique.

Known for their laid-back, artist-first approach, Stephen and Kentucky believe that great music comes from trust, experimentation, and genuine collaboration. The studio experience should feel inspiring, not intimidating, and every project is treated as a partnership between creators.

If you're looking for colorful production, punchy mixes, and a team that's equally invested in the art and the details, Lost Beat 6 is ready to help bring your next record to life.
