Vintage Trumpet studio work

Maciej Fortuna on SoundBetter

Easy, Communicative and Vintage :) Jazz trumpeter, composer, arranger, producer and Doctor of Musical Arts with two decades of international performing/recording experience, including jazz, electronic, ethno, folk and experimental music. I love vintage trumpet sound and would love to add it to your tracks!

Hi, I'm Fortuna.
I'm using vintage, and legendary trumpet instruments, such as Martin Committee Large Bore #3 trumpet from 1952, Couesnon flugelhorn from 1946, and several other state-of-the-art instruments from the past.
The exemplary instruments listed above are exactly the same brands and models as used by jazz legends such as Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Clark Terry, Lee Morgan, among others.

I specialize in recording jazz trumpet solos, improvised music and trumpet modified by vintage electronic fx's. I also empower trumpet solo parts with native Polish folklore inspirations and work with horns.

I'm using a variety of vintage trumpet mutes and vintage mouthpieces, including the legendary Miles Davis Harmon mute by Harmon Inc. from 1966, which produces an unforgettable muted trumpet sound.

HOW IT WORKS
send me the track you want the trumpet on, and let me know any notes and descriptions you have
- I will send you a quote
- If you have specific ideas, melodies, or hooks, you can record them or play them on your track, and I will translate them into horns
- If not, no worries, I will create my own horn parts and layer them, so you have plenty of options to choose from!*
- I will send you a link to the stems and a bounce of the track for reference after I record
* I will send you the link to the sheet music with horn charts in .pdf, .sib and .XML format.

Click the 'Contact' above to get in touch. Looking forward to hearing from you.
