Prithvi Prajosh

Songwriter/Singer/Topliner

Prithvi Prajosh on SoundBetter

Award winning singer/songwriter/topliner who's written for Warner signed artist Thomas Ng and rising superstar ASHWYN & Xenai

Hey there! I'm a recent Berklee College of Music graduate with a major in Songwriting. Just moved to LA to pursue a career as an Artist and I've been writing for over a decade since my very first heartbreak (how original I know). I can write songs, topline or just sing for you too! My voice has been described as soulful and unique and my Songwriting has been said to put people in a good mood or make them cry. There's no in-between really. I could be an ideal fit for you.

Services:
- Singing: I will sing a fully written song in any genre you prefer (starting at 75$ per song)
Will provide Lead, Harmonies & Stacks.
- Top-Line: Custom top-line based on the track featuring my vocals (starting at 100$ per song)
- Songwriting: Melody & Lyric writing from the ground up or as a co-write. (starting at 150$ per song)

I'm happy to write in Pop/EDM/Rnb or any styles you want me to! I'm reliable and always willing to learn and grow so you can always count on me to come through.
Would love to hear from you so let's make magic together!

Interview with Prithvi Prajosh

  1. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  2. A: That a song can simply flow through you (and sure that does happen) but you still have to hone your craft to actually complete writing songs!

  3. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  4. A: A brief overview of the project More about the person themselves What do they expect out of hiring me? What's the end goal of the project I work on? What's the project timeline?

  5. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  6. A: Always set your expectations up front and be truthful about who you are to get the best out of me.

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: Laptop, my digital piano Yamaha P-35, Shure sm7b, a mic stand (I can't hold my mic forever), my interface, and headphones

  9. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  10. A: I was on track to become a Computer Science Engineer and I even completed a degree in the same but music had my heart long before I did any of that. I've been writing for nearly 15 years now!

  11. Q: How would you describe your style?

  12. A: My style is feel-good vibes mixed with sad boy hours. Heavily indie-pop influenced with a little commercial pop writing sprinkled in there!

  13. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  14. A: Lizzy McAlpine. She's incredible. Her storytelling is raw and vulnerable and she has an incredible grasp of melody writing!

  15. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  16. A: Set up a template in your DAW so you're always ready to record ideas when you have a track-ready!

  17. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  18. A: Indie-Pop, Pop Rock, EDM & RnB are my preferred genres

  19. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  20. A: Melody writing is what I'm best at. I can give you at least 5 different chorus melodies in 30 seconds! That's impressive.... Right?

  21. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  22. A: I bring honesty to the songs I write.

  23. Q: What's your typical work process?

  24. A: When songwriting, I usually start with a song seed in mind. It could be a word or a full sentence with a rhythm and melody and I build from there!

  25. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  26. A: Home studio setup right now with my trusted Shure SM7B mic and Presonus Audiobox itwo interface.

  27. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  28. A: Chris Martin is my all-time inspiration. Harry Styles has snuck in more recently!

  29. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  30. A: I'm mostly a songwriter for other artists, including melody and lyrical writing.
