As a guitar player, I understand the importance of having "that sound" be just right. For whatever it is, large or small, every project is approached with the same mentality. Having had the opportunity myself to be in some amazing studios and work with some incredible people over the last 10-ish years, I have refined my ability to be able to fit inside any record to add texture where needed. Or, simply provide a foundation for a record to bloom into something much greater. Getting "that sound" just right has been the cornerstone of every lick I've ever played, every riff I've ever incorporated into a chorus, every chord I've ever used over a progression. You'll be surprised how much even a single guitar track can expand the sonic landscape of a song!
