Endorse Sean BucheckSean is an absolutely amazing producer and engineer. Time and time again I have worked with him and each time he brings the most professional, fun, and comfortable work environment. I choose to work with him time and time again because I know my music is in good hands.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sean for a few months now and he is one of the best people you will ever come across. Hardworking, talented, enthusiastic, always ready to hear your ideas and opinions. The definition of a class act.
Sean is a meticulous , creative expert in the production and mixing/ mastering of music . I couldn’t be more happy with the quality of his work. You won’t be disappointed .
I have been working with Sean for 2 years now. It has been the best experience in my 10 plus years of making music. Not only does he have an incredible ear and talent, he truly cares and works so hard to bring every track to life and put that extra magic on it. He has brought my music to a level I didn’t even know existed.
One of the best in the city of Saint Pete and Tampa. He can take a floating melody and turn it into a masterpiece. Highly recommend his services. Nothing short of professional 👏🏽
Sean is truly one of the best. I came to his studio with rough song ideas and he worked with me tirelessly to turn those ideas into fully realized, quality productions. Sean is an excellent musician who can lay down many different instruments skillfully, but beyond that he is extremely versatile in his style of production. What impressed me about Sean is how easily he was able to pick up on the vibe I was trying to convey with my music and make something with depth. Sean’s musical ideas and taste are also top tier, making him an invaluable collaborator. He’s also super chill. Work with Sean!
Sean is such a professional and brilliant person to work with. The creativity he puts into his craft really shows up in the songs he works on. He mixed and mastered some of my songs and I couldn’t be more happy with how they turned out. I’ll be working with him again in the near future and I’m stoked on it!
This studio just gets it. The vibe. The feeling. The texture. The sound. They're story tellers. Few engineers are able to understand the balance between sound and noise. This team knows that perfect balance. That's why Stereogram gets to help me tell my story.
You're not going to be disappointed. It's a place built by musicians for musicians.
Interview with Sean Bucheck
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I spend time trying to bring a song or scene to completion. Sometimes people come in with little to no direction on their tracks and it comes down to writing. Preferably though most artists have an idea of the direction they'd like to go in and I'm good at translating those thoughts into sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It depends what the artist is looking for. Generally I work in 3 stages. Production, mixing, then mastering. I try to get the track or project to a point of completion regarding layers. That is an hourly rate process. Once that's done we move into the mixing process which is a flat rate as discussed with the project. It then moves into mastering. Almost always my business partner Cody masters my mixes and the same goes for him unless requested otherwise. Always good to get a second set of ears on the master.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio runs of an Universal Audio Apollo 8p. We use a large variety of plugins ranging from UAD, Soundtoys, Omnisphere, Keyscape, Brainwors, Native Instruments, and more. Our hardware also includes a Moog Sub 37, multiple Neumann microphones, an AEA ribbon mic, and we run live drums as well when needed!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: FKJ, Mac Miller, Rick Rubin, Alina Baraz, Elliot Moss, Drake, James bay, John Mayer, Harry Styles, Pharrell Williams, Sam Smith
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly am involved in production, mixing, and mastering for music and film. Depends on the artist and their needs, but in the studio mxiim almost every day.
