If your looking for a new and fresh sound in RnB, Hip Hop, Pop or Latin music, I'm your guy! Send me a message and tell me more about your new song!
Hi, my name is Gamal, I've been producing professionally for 10 years now. I specialize in RnB, Hip Hop, Latin & Pop music. I believe the right production can take your music to another level and I have years of experience doing that.
I produced, mixed and mastered a song called "Obviously" by Alex Mali that has + 7,000,000 plays on Spotify.
Another produced called "Karma" by Thutmose has + 5,000,000 on Spotify.
For me, it's a very straight forward process, imagine what you want, if you can't, we'll figure it out together and then the adventure of creating it begins. I'm looking forward to helping you create your sound.
Stems are delivered when the job is complete.
Once we start working together I will give my best to create the best song for you so if you have an idea and truly believe in it, I will help you reach it!

Gamal was excellent to work with. I wanted a track that blended elements of R&B, Trap, and Bossa Nova. I gave him a demo and references, and he quickly delivered a track that was exactly as I had imagined. I highly recommend Gamal, and look forward to working with him again!

Gamal was great to work with. He communicated promptly and quickly understood my request.
It only took 2 drafts to get the vibe I wanted and the full track was finished in less than a week.
The delivered individual WAV files were high quality and easy to import into a DAW to review.
Gamal is very creative, professional and a skilled producer. I highly recommend giving him consideration for your musical production needs.

I’ll put it this way, There are a lot of RIAA certified engineers on here with some big name credits that can’t do what Gamal is able to do. Review his Spotify playlist and listen for yourself. everything he touches sounds amazing! Very patient and pays high attention to detail. If you want your song mixed down the right way spend the money and get it done by Gamal!💯

Gamal is super resouceful! We worked on a full production together, he understood the reference at first, and sent me a great beat, and from there we had a few meetings via Zoom until we cracked the egg! The song turned out fantastic.

Very experienced. Very knowledgeable. True professional. Not only took the time to work on my mix but also provided incredible insights beyond the project at-hand to more generalized songwriting, arrangement, production and artist development tips. Gamal will elevate your sound and your vision.

OMG! Thats all I can say right now! Gamal put MAGIC together within 24-36 hours of submitting my project!! He's the truth, he really brought my vision to life. Most importantly, at a point whereas he wasn't sure what I meant in my instruction he set up a phone call and zoom meeting immediately after to get on the same page and he did the revisions while I was speaking with him! I wish I can just have Gamal to myself as a producer at this point...He's that good!!
Interview with Gamal
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: 5 O'clock shadow by Jimi Tents. It was one of the first projects that I took on completely as a producer, and it taught me a lot about the role of a producer. It was eye opening and made me realize why I love producing so much. It also did well which made me see that I could have a possible future in this field.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I would definitely recommend working with Riosse, his attention to detail, professionally and urgency is top notch. You can find him here on SoundBetter as well!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. They have different things they bring to the table and both are important. Analog can be much more textured and is difficult to recreate which is what can make it so special. While digital can be controlled way easier which allows for more creative paths and more access to sounds that wouldn't be available in analog.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To do my best to bring your song to life and maintain the essence of the song throughout the process.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Seeing people smile when they hear the final song.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How quick can I hear a demo? Usually within one day!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That you need top of the best gear.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What type of music do you make? What would you describe your sound to be? How does this song or lyric make you feel? How open are you to making changes and or building on a song or project?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Have some raw idea's ready, voice notes, videos, demos, drafts, chords or lyrics.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Guitar, Headphones, Microphone, Speakers
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 10 years. It wasn't always officially this. But slowly this became my calling. One that I couldn't ignore.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Smooth, textured and minimal.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Frank Ocean, I am simply amazed by his music and so I would love to first and foremost, see his process and learn from it and then be a part of it and bring what I could to the table.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If the song does not feel good as a demo, it's not ready to record.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on RnB, Hip Hop & Latin music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Listening carefully.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: It's hard to pin down. I bring color and feeling. Expression must be protected at every stage of the process and I help you get your message from the idea in your head to an audible format.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: a preliminary conversation/ game plan about what we want to accomplish and how I can help you get there. We also iron out some details and try to foresee and account for any problems along the way.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It's a small studio. Great microphones, guitars and keyboards.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Noah 40 Shebib, Soundwav, Quincy Jones
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
