Clarity is a full production studio run by an industry veteran with 20+ years of experience in the industry and a continued investment in the San Diego live scene.

I'm Sean, and I run Clarity Recordings. I've worn nearly every hat in the industry, from a touring and session musician with over a dozen bands, to engineering and editing quality songs at killer studios, to full production from songwriting to mastering now at Clarity, my personal studio.

I offer bands the ability to get the full producer experience without the price tag it used to come with. I've personally worked with several top producers with my own bands on countless releases, and I've observed and absorbed methods that allow me to help you bring your music to the next level. I can be as involved as you want, from songwriting and structure, to lyrical development and instrumental production, session performances, vocal layering and atmospherics.

My studio comes equipped with a ludicrous amount of gear to help the process. Dozens of amps, hundreds of pedals from all of the best makers, nearly three dozen guitars and basses from a variety of manufacturers (though I have a soft spot for Fender), and another half dozen synthesizers and production pianos. All of my instruments are available to my artists at no extra charge. Except the strings. You buy those. ;)

In addition to my services, my wife is a seasoned string composer and classically trained violinist / violist who can add a ton of depth to your production.
