I'm an award winning composer with credits on HBO and a drive to tell stories through music.
My goal is to make music a narrative. Every story is unique, and a great script, or even an incredible painting, can inspire a particular sound. I promise to explore every possible instrument in search of the right motif for your project. And if that instrument doesn't exist yet, I'll create it.
My approach to music is inspired by my upbringing. Despite growing up in New Jersey, where Bruce Springsteen is the first name you learn after "mom," my Mexican and Pakistani family raised me on a plethora of cultural music—from Mariachi to Qawwali. It inspired me to go down a musical journey of studying the instruments, rhythms, and melodies of a variety of cultures.
