Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm working as first tenor in the Italian National Jazz Orchestra, Funk Off (https://www.funkoff.it/), Daisy's Band that is an afro-cuban and jazz band based in Florence (https://www.instagram.com/daisys_firenze/), a jazz-progressive band from Florence called Meraz (https://www.instagram.com/merazmusic/), Daniele Belli's Band where i'm playing clarinet and saxophone (world music project inspired by Al Di Meola's sound).

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: You can be sure I will bring your music to a pro level :)

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: "Do you need pre-composed line? Can you create your own?" Both! If you have a midi, sheet or just you sing a line I’ll replicate them with a real instrument, but if you don't have nothing of those, don't panic :) I will create a line that will perfect fit on your song! "In which style are you comfortable playing?" In the years I performed with countless bands in many continents performing all kind of music. I enjoy challenging myself in different genres and I’m always eager to learn new things!

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: Some customers think that i can litterally understand and read what they have in their mind without be clear about what are they looking for: it is very important to be clear and write the most information that you can provide. If you can't write it, sing it :)

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: If you are not sure about what do you need for your track, contact me first and talk together. It is very important to have clear idea about how can we approach the sound that you are looking for!

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Warmth sound but with some punchy style in it. My style reference are John Coltrane, Michael Brecker, Miles Davis...

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Braxton Cook is one of my favourite artist. I love his open mind in music and his versatility. It's one of my musical Guru

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: If you want to add a horn section to your song, record the principal melody first, then you will think about the sound of the woodwinds.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I love collaboration with other human being that loves music as i do :)

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I have10+ years of experience. I'm graduated in Jazz Saxophone with maximum score (110 with honours) at Siena Jazz University and Conservatory of Florence.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Listen and learn the song that clients provide me ---> play a solo or a melody/make an arrangement ---> record it (DAW: Cubase 10 pro) ---> attach a folder with Wet and dry stems

A: My gear includes high-end vintage and modern instruments: Selmer, Yanagisawa, Buffet, Pearl, Rampone e Cazzani
