Hey! My name is Paul Jalowiecki aka Vintage Division. I am a platinum certified mixing/mastering engineer, and founder of Chrome Mastering. In 2015 I graduated from Salford University in Manchester with 1st class Honours BA Hons Creative Music Technology.
I have mixed/mastered over 3000 tracks that have been released on top of the industry Dance Music labels like Universal, Sony, Defected (Waitz - THPS), Diynamic, Toolroom, Intec Digital, Elrow, Stil Vor Talent, Drumcode, Nervous, Madtech (Kerri Chandler), Beatfreak, amongst many. My work has received countless support from radio stations such as BBC1 Xtra, Rinse FM, Ministry Of Sound, and DJs like Tiesto, Anyma, Low Steppa, Kerri Chandler, Oliver Koletzki, Marco Carola, Skrillex, Mark Knight, Richy Ahmed, and more.
Having a 6 years background in producing have improved my mastering & mixing skills. Since 2011, under the names of Vintage Division and Phonokinetics, I've been releasing on labels such as Nervous, which had a Grammy nominated record in 2020, Nastyfunk, Witty Tunes, Nupanda, Hustler Trax, Lemongrassmusic, and Deepology. My music under Phonokinetics alias has been licensed to over 42 compilations worldwide, and received 3 publishing deals via White Mantis publishing in Germany.

Interview with Paul Jalowiecki
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I always like to get a rough mix/master along with the stems, just so I can get an idea of where the artist was trying to take their mix. Information about reference tracks, favourite labels and artists is also always helpful!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being very friendly, patient and always carefully listening to my client's needs! I believe good communication is as important as a technical skillset :) I usually nail the mix/master within 1-2 revisions, but I offer unlimited revisions free of charge for piece of mind.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: 10+ years of experience as a producer and DJ, over 3000 mixed & mastered tracks across House & Techno genres! I deeply believe you only achieve the best results, if you work with the music you love and artists you believe in. "One size fits all" is not my motto.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will improve your song just the right amount! I pay utmost attention to the artist's original vision. Your song will be brought to the highest industry standard with punch, width, clarity, and a dancefloor rocking bass.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: For monitoring I use ATC SCM25 pro with two ATC SCS70 PRO subwoofers, as well as Audeze LCD-X reference headphones. For each track I use SSL X-Logic G-Series on the mix bus, Manely Vari MU on the master channel, and Neve 8803 analogue EQ. For the acoustics, I kitted out my studio with custom made Vicoustic acoustic panels and GIK Acoustics basstraps. All that topped is off with world class Trinnov ST2 Pro Acoustic room correction.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing with Mastering. Clients also sometimes ask me for additional production. This service focuses on improving the existing structure, transitions between sections, and adding creative FX.
