Cheesy Vibes is a Nigerian pop singer, songwriter and performer, that derives pride in his lyrical abilities. Born and raised in Lagos, Chidera grew up playing drum sets in his local church.
After learning the drums for over a decade, the 21-year-old vocalist, speedily switched to playing keyboard — following his High School graduation ceremony in 2019. Now in College ('Imo State University') studying Sociology, Cheesy has at-long-last, decided to go part-time into creating music that pleases the heart. Cheesy Vibes, who has a diverse african musical creativity, is mainly focused on Afrobeats, Dancehall, Afropop and South Africa's Amapiano. His style of music is definitely not restricting him to a single sound. In 2021, Cheesy Vibes unveiled his afro house single 'Anitaa' with Amapiano Madness, under exclusive license to Soft Sly Men Music Group. Since its release, the song has garnered over 250k+ streams on all digital streaming services and 1.1k+ iTunes downloads.
