I’m a recording and mixing engineer based in London, from Havana, Cuba.

I started my career in the music industry as a guitar player in my hometown Havana, Cuba. There, I had the opportunity to perform and collaborate with talented artists and bands.

I always had a passion for technology and electronics, which naturally took me to explore a career path as a recording and mixing engineer. I consider myself a sound purist, who loves capturing the sound in the cleanest and more natural way possible.

Thanks to my background and cultural experience, I am a versatile professional with the ability and sensibility to work with various genres and artist with different cultural backgrounds.

Rafael is an incredible mix engineer. His musicality and attention to detail always results in an amazing sounding mix. The process was engaging and fun!

I trusted him fully with the mix for my song May You Reign. He took something that had frequency and phasing issues and made it sound polished without losing any character. The bass is full and clear, and vocals sit perfectly on top surrounded by the beautiful synths. I was extremely happy with his mix.
