Hip Hop,EDM Producer & Mixer

Prod.clbfurzza on SoundBetter

You are not working if it’s not with me lol. Jokes aside I am the best person to hire on here simply because, I do exactly what you ask and only explore when you permit me. Tap in a let ride the wave of natural musical brilliance together. Peace.

I’m a young producer from Ghana who aims at bridging the gap between genres.
I am a great sampler , fairly good on the keys and have that EAR producers and mixers train years for.

I honestly don’t have many credits, simply because school was an obstacle. But now I am free to work with as many musicians as possible.

Although my credits are few, It will forever be my biggest flex that I produced and mixed a song for the legendary Aizdean !

Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Interview with Prod.clbfurzza

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I produced and mixed a song for the japanese genius Aizdean. I loved the whole process because he was very flexible with decisions and very open to my views even though he was years ahead of me in terms of achievement and age. Mind you he was in the UK while I was in Ghana but our distance apart was no obstacle.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: A lot of hip hop and pop stuff

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Anthony jardine even though I don’t know him in person.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, cos it’s less noisy.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: Goose bumps.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I like the fact that I get to influence somebody’s mood from just putting sounds together.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: How long have you been doing this for? 4 years

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: People think it’s rocket science but it’s not!

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: Are you in a hurry or not?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Chill , relax and go with the flow.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: The Gibson Les Paul Neuman TLM 103 Any Steinway & Sons Piano Roland TR-08 Apollo twin MK II

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I’ve been making music for 4 years.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I’d say my style is straight forward but with unexpected turns that one wouldn’t expect in a said song/genre.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I’d like to work with Pharrell Williams. I wanna figure out how he makes such beautiful music with little mix density.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Yeah! Automate/narrow the width of the stereo image of your track as song approaches the chorus to create an assumed bigger and wider chorus.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Hip Hop, Afro fusion, Afrobeat and EDM

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My strongest skill is Beat Making

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring that natural build up every song needs without too much comparisons with what’s currently hot, because I believe in authenticity. Again I just happen to be that talented guy. That prodigy!

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Well, I most often start by playing around on the piano till I come up with something I like and then follow up from there. Sometimes I record 2-3 mins voice notes of exactly what’s in my head and work on it from there. Kinda weird but it gets the job done fast.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: Honestly, my studio setup is minimal, just the essentials and that’s it. Hoping to expand, but till then , it’s the ear and not the gear!

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Pharrell Williams, Benny Blanco, Axl Beats, Kendrick Lamar and finally DJ Swivel.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I mostly make hip hop and Afro beats for my clients. But , I have a EDM production background, that being said I do EDM as well.
