I will mix and master your Christian Gospel, Pop, Worship, Inspirational, Contemporary, Latin, and Pop-Rock song!
I started my own Christian record label called 'Vizionary Records', and I have released seven songs on the label. I arranged the music samples, recorded all the vocals for me and my wife, and I also mixed and mastered the songs. If you are looking for a Christian mixing engineer just starting out and still learning as I go, I'm the one for you. If you hire me for your project, I will do my best to give you a professional sounding mix the first time, and if you don't like it, you can have three revisions. I only work with Christian artist's and will mix many genres of Christian content, i.e., Pop, Gospel, Contemporary, Latin, Worship, Inspirational, Singer-Songwriter, and Pop-Rock.
Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.

Endorse Tyrone PalmerInterview with Tyrone Palmer
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My first ever arrangement, recording, mix and master was my wife's (Cynthia Palmer) song "Your Words", which can be found on Youtube.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My song, and my wife's song
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Zachary Engram
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, because I use analog modeled plugins and it's less expensive for me.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll Get it right, or you get your money back!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making a song sound better!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That you have to go to engineer school in order to learn how to mix and master
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Are you a Christian and do you have godly musical content
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My advice would be to give a chance to an up and comer, who will truly treat their project like it was their own. We all have to start somewhere, and Soundbetter makes it easy to do transactions and the customer will not have to release the money until they are satisfied and if they are not they can always cancel the deal and get their money back!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would take some instruments to play like an acoustic guitar, not gear!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I was a professional vocalist for hire and was featured on a few commercially released dance songs between 1999-2004. I just started mixing and mastering songs last year.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I don't really have a style; I try to be the best me I can be.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Tauren Wells, because he sounds similar to me and he really gives his all to every song he does.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I'm not a producer of music, I don't play any instruments or make my own beats, I usually work with samples
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Christian Contemporary, Christian Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Arrangement and vocals
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Arrangement, Production ideas, lyrics, and vocals,
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to work on melodic songs, so I look for samples that have a dreamy melodic sound and very easy to write too. I arrange the song, then write the lyrics, record my vocals, or my wife's, and then mix and master.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use Studio One 5 Professional as my D.A.W. and I have the industry standard Waves and Izotope plugins to mix and Izotope Ozone 9 advanced to Master finished mixes.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I met Zachary Engram on Soundbetter, and he was used by God to inspire me to get into mixing and mastering.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I can arrange samples into a complete song for future vocals. I mix the recorded tracks and I master the finished mix.
