Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Thinking that metal heads can't produce techno or electro music
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a yamaha Mox 8 synth, with a mac studio . I have a novation launch control xl pad, a Korg nanoKontrol2, dynaudio speakers and a lot of librairies of sounds coming from Spitfire Audio, UVI, Native instruments, Eastwest etc...
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Hello guys i can produce your track. That means that I can create a complete track for you if you need it. I can compose the melody, make the arrangements, mix and master your track.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: "The Siren And the werewolf". It's an Ep n the dark synth wave style. I produce all the Ep which will be available in 2023.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I work upon an Heavymetal/ Dark synth wave album with Etienne pelosoff and I produce also an album for a band band in a Dark synth wave style
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Etienne Pelosoff. this guy is crazy and he have the same philosophy than me
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: hybrid. Because today we have to chance to work with both
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: to work upon their piece till they "Love it"
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Music is my life. I est music, i drink music, I sleep music. I love to take something from people and to give it to them back with a little part of myself.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: are you able to do this, or This? And my answer is : "give me the opportunity to surprise you"
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Where do you want to go? Are you interested maybe to see your song played in another way? Are you open mindel?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Give us the chance to discoure you. Give us the chance to take your productions to the next level. Give us the chance to show you our skills.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: my macbook pro, but without power supply it's donna be hard. My yamaha mox 8 (but without power suppply it's hard too)., my guitar Fender stratocaster, my novation launch control xl, my nanokontrol2 and my brain :-)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I start two years ago. i'm completely independant
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: A mix between Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, Opeth, Eluveitie and John Williams or Vangelis. I like dark and powerful musics. I like to mix different genres
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Carpenter Brut or Perturbator because those guys are Awesome and they mix metal and synth wave and techno.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: when you mix your track. Be sure to do it in a very quiet level. Not to high. if everything sounds good when the level is quiet, that means that you are on a good way, and when the mastering will be done, everything will sounds powerfull. And be sure to try the mix upon several audio systems, from the baudets (your phone),to the best one (your speakers). And of course keep your mind open and your ears too.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Metal, electo, pop. I like to work with every people who likes powerful arrangements and energetic songs
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I listen people and i listen their skills
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my alternative point of view. My style is Dark so i can take you to an another direction, a direction you would never thing about.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to be in perpetual link with the artist with whom I'm working during the creative process. Explain your wishes, and let me wright something for you. Then we will see how to glue all your wishes with my sensibilité.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, and all stuff with powerful music from metal to dubstep and electro stuff.
