Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Being a Roland artist and collaborator, it's being a magical process of helping to develop the equipment I ever used to imagine how it was created and who are the guys behind it.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm working in my career as a Roland artist, I've got my Power Metal band as well.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both, analog is real but digital is practical.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I'll do my best as a musician and as a human being.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Creation, interpretation...the magic of music in general.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: When people have not the final idea in mind it becomes a hard work.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: Do you have the final idea of your song? How it must to sound and for what reason?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: I'm very dedicated in achieve good music creation, I know how to put myself in the others places to assume other points of view and communication it's very valued.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Fantom 7, iMac pro, some good headphones, cables...that's it.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I'm a professional musician since I was 13 years old, so I'm envied with recordings, arrangements compositions and live concerts for almost 30 years. I've got the chance to work with great artists as Uli Jon Roth (Scorpions), Ted Poley (Danger Danger), Worked as a music producer in the greatest thematic park in South America, so mixing all these experiences I can achieve different results even under hard circumstances.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I'm a rock keyboardist, but as a Brazilian musician I've got the groove needed for another styles. As a classical pianist student I like the emotional and dramatic interpretation.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Michael Jackson, I would like to know how he could achieve the magical results he use to achieve.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: The song independently of the style must to be firm, must to have some beauty and utility.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I use to listen to the guides and cross the briefing ideas to achieve intuitional insights and get into the atmosphere of the song.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: Roland Fantom 7, Roland Ax-Edge, Roland FA-06, Complete Roland Cloud VSTs and Sound Expansions etc.. Logic Pro X, Zoom R-16 etc...

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Halloween, Deep Purple, Yes, Kamelot, Dream Theater, Yngwie Malmsteen.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Mostly commercial pop/rock songs, although Rock/Metal bands are always hiring me to record keyboards sessions

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I have enough creativity and skills to play most styles on keyboard and piano. I easily understand the story behind the song in order to create suitable arrangements.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I always try to capture the message behind the song. How the composer got the idea and what he is trying to convey. My goal is to create arrangements that immerse the listener into the song message.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I usually create arrangements for Gospel, Pop/Rock & Metal bands, delivering a mixed and mastered full production. I also create Pianos and Orchestral sessions very often. Normally I receive the rough tracks and send back the recorded arrangements as per client suggestion or I suggest my own arrangement depending on the client briefing.
