I will be your friend, your guide, and your best bet in order to get the best possible return of investment based on your budget and expectations.

My goal is not only to give you the best you can get for your project.

My goal is for you to be able to have your best possible shot at making money out of it.

Whether you're an independent artist, signed, or you wish to be a signed artist with a specific label. I have several, substantial connections with a plethora of established artists and labels, and whatever I produce will go to the right ears.

What I am not is a "yes man".

If you want me to "please boost 2db around 3.5khz on my voice" then you're looking at the wrong guy. If you can't trust your producer / engineer, then you might as well not hire him.

I have countless stories of clients who decided they wanted to mix everything themselves, only to have their albums rejected by their labels after over 20 tries.

All I had to do was mix their record one time, and the labels accepted them.

There's a reason why I make the decisions I make. And it is to help you succeed.

And THAT is why you should hire me :)

Literally couldn't ask for a more incredible producer than Zardonic. He is absolutely fantastic. A really positive and enthusiastic person who is passionate about the projects he works on. He strives to stay true to the original vibe of the track, whilst simultaneously taking the sound to the next level! Couldn't be happier that I found him- Zardonic, you are a legend!!!

Interview with Zardonic

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: SUPERHOT: Mind Control Delete. It was the very first soundtrack work I did for a videogame. The creative freedom was liberating!

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Upcoming Fear Factory studio album, my own album, several remixes and productions.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Not at the moment, but I hope to find them soon!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: There's pros and cons about both, and it largely depends on the desired sound.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I don't promise. I deliver.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Making new friends, and working with amazing artists that inspire me. Music is my medicine!

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: "Can you do this for a lower price?", to which my answer could be "yes", if you're cool and if I like your music.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: No misconceptions that I know of so far, but maybe I'll have a different answer sometime!

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What are your ambitions?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: If you believe in yourself, and your music ideas are solid, you definitely should hire someone like me to take you to the next level.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Probably none. How am I supposed to power them up anyways? :D

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: Nearly two decades, from my bedroom to the main stage, from local heroes to major label artists.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: In your face, epic and energetic!

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: There's a few that I have already worked on, but from the ones not in my credits, I guess something along the lines of Nine Inch Nails would be the obvious choice for me.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Learning music theory is a key factor in songwriting. No amount of gear or plugins will make a song sound good if the composition is not good.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: EDM, Drum & Bass, Electro, Dubstep, Heavy Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, Industrial, Industrial Metal, Ambient, Soundtrack.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Excellence is my habit.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I breathe life into any song that is given to me!

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I start with getting acquainted with the artist so I can understand their vision better. Once I understand the goal, I can propose a solid plan to help your career with a strong sound foundation and the right connections to make it all happen.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
