My name is Alexis. I am from Athens, Greece and currently residing in São Paulo (Brazil). I started my career as producer and guitar player in a band called Bella Union in the 90´s. After that I moved to London where i lived for 8 years and got to know more about Brazilian music (Maracatu, Samba, Bossa Nova).
I am based in Brazil since 2010 and here I have produced many Brazilian bands such as "Estrada”, “Um Rio”, “Enquanto houver amanhã”. In 2013, I mixed and mastered Ruspô's debut album “Esses Patifes”. The record was considered one of the best albums of 2013 and was praised by Gilles Peterson in his music program Worldwide for BBC. The English label Mais Um Discos included the track “Brasilia é Luísa” in its compliation, Rolê: new sounds of Brazil.
I am currently working on Ruspô's second album while im producing soundtracks and tv ads.
