Dan has worked with a wide selection of established and aspiring Artists - assisting with the Recording, Production, Mixing & Mastering of multiple projects - including Film, Podcasts and TV Sync Placements.

Dan's initial introduction to recording was as a Drummer - and over the course of a decade, Dan has explored other disciplines, leading him to study Music & Sound Production at BIMM Manchester.

As the winner of BIMM Manchester's 2022 Remix Competition, Dan was invited to Altar Studios for a 1-1 masterclass with legendary producer, Rick Snoman - who has performed work for the likes of Britney Spears, The Chainsmokers, The Stone Roses, & Justin Timberlake.

Dan is currently a proud member of the Oscillate Recordings team, operating from Fourways House, in Manchester's Northern Quarter.

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: A session for a Singer/Songwriter based in Manchester.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Less is often more.

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: Genres ranging from Indie, to Ambient Electronic Music and Soundtracks.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: Providing clarity throughout the sessions, as well as engaging with the client fully throughout - whilst delivery an industry standard quality mix at a very competitive price.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: My ability to collaborate and critically listen to clients helps enhance the efficiency of their sessions - which is vital in terms of financial management. My sessions are bespoke and tailored around the artist, to suit their needs and help realise their ambition.

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: Constant communication with clients, providing updates in the form of MP3s for the duration of the session; helping ensure the client feels involved in the mixing of their track, as well as consistent progress reports.
