2022 Latin Grammy nominated composer, orchestrator, arranger, orchestrator, and bassist, upright and electric. I Have performed with Kronos Quartet, Rita Moreno, Hugh Jackman, Martin Short, Mandy Patinkin & Patti LuPone, Marc Shaiman, Bonnie Raitt, Randy Newman, Josh Groban, Kristin Chenoweth, Andrew Lippa, Eddie Duran, and many others.
I am fluent in many styles including Jazz, Rock, Funk, Blues, Americana, Argentine Tango, Salsa, Latin Jazz, Classical Music, etc.. I can record upright bass using the bow or plucked. I can also record electric bass and I have an arsenal of vintage Fender basses that sound incredible! I founded and have led the Musical Art Quintet which performs my original compositions and string arrangements. My arrangement of the Rhapsody in Blue for String Quintet has been sold in more than 15 countries around the world. I also Produce songs, albums and do orchestrations and string arrangements for film. I recently orchestrated a piece for virtuoso Banjo player Tim Weed that was recorded by the Prague Metropolitan Orchestra. I also perform with Argentine Tango group, Trio Garufa, and founded Los Tangueros del Oeste. I perform regularly with the Jazz Mafia, Classical Revolution, Barrion Manouche, The Flamenco Theatre Company of San Francisco, and many other groups!
