Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is the feeling of your song?
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I believe that in addition to the technical requirements, a good production must always respect the original feeling of the song, the spirit, the heart and the message that it wants to communicate.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It's depends on the typo of work. For example, to record guitars, the client normally knows the type of arrangement he wants for his song, distortion chords, a guitar solo, a funk guitar, etc. So I listen to their suggestions, I give my opinion according to the style of the song and with that I have enough information to start recording. If you need a full production: 1- you send me a sample of your song, it can be with piano/voice or guitar/voice 2- you tell me the musical style you are looking for and send me a commercial reference, a "twin song" that is similar to your song. 3- you tell me the feeling of your song, the message you want to convey With those ideas, I make the pre-production with the arrangements of each instrument. Then I record and program what is needed and at the end I make the mix
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually work producing songs for my clients. I do pre-production work, then recording and programming. To finish I make the mixture. I also record guitars and vocals on the songs that need it. I don't always do the whole process, sometimes I just work on the arrangements, just the mix or just record the guitars.
