Whether you need a fiddle solo for your next indie rock single, a 3-part string section on your ballad, or an understated violin line on your folk project, I'm excited to bring your string visions to life. My 20+/year background in both classical and fiddle styles allows me to work with a wide range of songs and artistic needs.
Emily Garcia is a Nashville-based violinist and fiddle player. Starting violin lessons at age 5, her early years were steeped in Suzuki recitals, fiddle competitions at county fairs in her home state of New Hampshire, and listening to bluegrass and Celtic fiddle music when most kids her age were listening to Britney Spears.
Emily’s professional career has included performances across New England, in venues from packed Irish pubs to concert halls (including work with the New Hampshire Philharmonic). Relocating to Nashville in 2018, Emily now performs and records regularly within the Americana, pop, and country scene.
Emily performs on a John Silakowski 5-string violin and a Joule model bow by Codabow.
