Hi, I am Julian I am a sound engineer and producer based in Berlin, Germany. I specialize in Pop,Hip-Hop, EDM,R&B,Rock.

Initially rooted in classical music, my interest in pop music and songwriting grew steadily. In order to be able to record my songs, I put together my first own home studio at the age of 15, which was expanded over the years.
Due to my desire to produce music professionally, I studied at the Hochschule der Populären Künste in Berlin.

As a classical clarinetist I have played numerous concerts with Munich orchestras and ensembles.
As a sound engineer, singer and songwriter my portfolio includes projects of various genres.

Today I benefit from this many years of experience in various musical genres. I approach my projects not only as a sound engineer but also as a musician.

Interview with Julian Muc

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am doing a lot of mixing and mastering for all different clients as well as songwriting and gig‘s in Germany.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: My business is still growing and digital is more cost-effective right now.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To give my best to every song and to work as long as they are fully satisfied
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making music sound great on every possible sound system. My work is only done when the song sounds balancend even on the crappiest speakers
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start with organizing the files and creating groups such as vocals/backings, drums and melody instruments. Then I begin with some slight EQ and compression on each track in order to get a well sounding result in 1- 1,5 hours. Afterwards I put some rough mastering on so the client can imagine how the final version sounds like. When the client likes the mix so far, I start with the fine tuning and finish the mix. I do as many revisions as needed to get the best sounding result
