Flawless Soulful Violinist

Spicy Violin on SoundBetter

Exceptional timing, pitch, and level of improvisation that very few violinists can match. I have dialed in my violin tone so well that you can point to any famous violinist out there and I can guarantee I will sound as good or better than them.

Hello! I'm Spicy Violin and I've been playing violin 24 years and counting. Growing up homeschooled allowed me focus on violin and other musical endeavors so let me tell you why I'm a one of a kind string player.

Most great violinists are classically trained. This is true, and I am no exception. However, I had a brother who played the hammered dulcimer, so we would go to folk music festivals all the time growing up. At these events, my parents pushed me to take master classes, visit jam sessions, and do anything to diversify my musical education.

I also would take from various fiddle teachers sporadically and gained a lot of fun techniques from them. However, the style that I play today is a combination of the two, and is something completely unique to me.

When I was 15, I took an interest in recording music. I learned from Youtube mostly at the time, but eventually found an incredible course that helped me take all of my audio endeavors to the next level. I have waited a couple years since finding out about Soundbetter but I am finally happy to say that my violin, viola, and cello playing are all of a high enough caliber. My recording process is dialed in. I am ready to help you get the best possible string sections sounds without hiring an orchestra.
