I am an electronic music producer and sound engineer with 10+ years of experience. My tracks and mixes were released under top electronic record label (Colorize - Enanched, Hexagon, NewRetroWave, Sub Religion Records...) and supported by top DJs/Producer (Above & Beyond, Tritonal, Matt Fax, Praana, Johan Gielen, Cosmic Gate).
I specialize in the genres of House, Melodic/Trance and Synthwave.
As a producer since 2011, I have released, remixed, and collaborated on official projects in the Trance, Melodic, House and Synthwave scenes.
I have worked as a mixing and mastering engineer for several DJs, producers, and artists.
My goal is always and only to achieve the desired sound of the artist, understanding what the he wants for his project, offering my experience. I strive to provide the necessary detail and care for sound, treating every project as if it were my own.
My mixes and masters are ITB (In The Box) and produced with the best plugins on the market such as FabFilter, Plugin Alliance, Waves, iZotope, Soundtoys, Solid State Logic, and many others.
I always offer availability for multiple revisions for my work, which will be discussed together.

Really good mixing and mastering engineer, specially for independent artists without a lot of money. Very flexible and ready to make all the revisions that are necessary to get to the desired result. He knows how to listen to his clients whether they know exactly what effects and processing they want or they just know the vision they want to reach. Very pleasurable to work with, and great, professional results that compare well with other tracks on the market!

Amazing mixing and mastering service for a great price! I sent my track after all my best efforts at mixing and mastering it and he raised it to a whole new level, in terms of perceived loudness, presence, depth and stereo imagin. He was quick at giving me the first demo and even quicker at working on all the revisions I asked for. The final work sounds really good everywhere, from a car to a JBL Extreme, from earbuds to monitor headphones and speakers, even from the phone speakers!
Interview with Gianmarco Fabbretti
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will try to do my best!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Try to have stems correctly named and with no clipping/distortion issues: this help mix engineers to work faster and better.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'm so versatile, I do not have a specific genre that describe me.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: A simple trick for dance songs to make the drop hitting harder: before the drop begins, try to add a simple Eq/filter automation cutting the low frequencies in the build up/pre-drop. This will bring immediately more energy to the drop. You can use additionally a reverb automation.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It depends on the work I have to do. But for mixing is the same: importing stems, preparing the session, finishing the mix, revisions and then going with the mastering step.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Well, I have a simple studio setup: two pair of audio monitors, one audio interface, two pair of mixing headphones, midi keyboards, mix midi controller and a simple synthesizer.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Daft Punk, deadmau5, Armin Van Buuren, Scooter and Depeche Mode.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A collaboration with VJS and Luxor called I Can't Hide It, released under Colorize (Enhanced).I was the co-artist/producer and mix engineer.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Analog is still the best way to reaching easly a warm/depth sound but today the digital domain is the fastest and most versatile process. You can reach amazing and professional results working exclusively In The Box (digital domain) thanks to high quality plugins and great emulations of analog gears. The Recall in the analog domain requires time and hard work and this leads to work faster in digital.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started making music back in 2008 and sometimes DJing. In 2015 I released my first official projects under record labels and go supports from interntional podcasts/mix by respectable artists. I studied sound engineering in 2018.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work with electronic music, in the specific with House Melodic/Trance, Techno, EDM, Synthwave and rarely Hip-Hop and Chillout.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I generally do mix and masters and sometimes I make external productions.
