Dr. Congcong Bi, an acclaimed cellist and dedicated scholar, brings a harmonious blend of musical excellence and academic prowess to the world stage.

Dr. Congcong Bi's musical journey commenced at a tender age, marked by her admission to the Xinghai Conservatory at just 13 years old. Her exceptional talent and unwavering dedication continued to shine when, at age 17, she earned a coveted spot at the ArtEz Conservatory in the Netherlands with the highest scholarship.

Dr. Bi's passion extends beyond performance; she remains actively engaged in the academic realm. Currently, she teaches at the University of North Georgia and Gwinnett Technical College, her research project has been accepted for presentation at the 12th Symposium of the International Study Group on Music Archaeology in Würzburg, Germany. In 2019, her proposal titled “Mechanisms of Live Performance Engagement to Improve Health Outcomes of Advanced Cancer Patients” was chosen for the Susan A. Siltanen Graduate Student Research Symposium. Her commitment to scholarly pursuits has also led to a publication in the International Journal of Computer Mathematics.

Dr. Bi received her D.M.A. in cello performance and cello pedagogy from the University of Southern Mississippi. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from ArtEz Conservatorium (Zwolle, Netherlands) and a Master’s degree from Lee University (TN).
