Hey Hey! I'm Steph. Singer/songwriter from Philly. My genre of choice is RnB/Pop but I honestly can do it all. I've written Gospel, Children's Songs (Disney/Pixar/Nickelodeon vibes) Country, Rap, House, Jingles etc. My songs have played on BET Jams, Soul, Apple Music Playlists, Essence.com and more!
I'm all about timeless, relatability, heavy rotation. Let's make people feel the song for years and years to come. I've written numerous songs for a number of various artists and I also wrote and released my own EP in 2020.
So if you just need a hook? Got you! You want a song demoed? Got that too! You need a full song written. No problem!
Just let me know exactly what you're looking for.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I got to rewrite and sing on a classic "Let's Talk About Sex" by Salt-N-Peppa for a great cause and Salt performed it. It was so much fun to do!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get to do what I love and make people feel something.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I wouldn't want or be able to write a song for a male vocalist. I actually love writing songs for men!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Sync and Licensing projects, Remixing Covers, Mixing Songs
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll get a song to where you want it to be and SOME :)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Paper Pencil Phone Laptop Mic
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I used to be a teacher. I graduated from college with a degree in Education. This field taught me that I also can write Children's music very well. But I wrote my first song over 15 years ago and recently lost my job in the education field and decided that that was the push I needed to work on music full time.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I am big on making my songs speak to people lyrically. The melody and the song formats are always on point but it's the words that I believe captivate people. It makes you think and feel. It puts you back in that space or reminds you of a smell, a moment, an experience.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with H.E.R. She's a true talent in so many facets. She plays, sings, writes. She's amazing.

A: RnB and Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Writing lyrics
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Emotion, storyline, a cool melodic flow and relatability.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I write most of my songs using my voice notes app any time of the day when I'm inspired and then I record once I get home. I usually think of a line or a concept and then hear the rest of the story through the music. My melody comes from listening to the music repeatedly and piecing it all together (words with melody). The format just flows. I can feel the verse and what should be the verse as opposed to the hook based on catchiness, melody, notes, etc.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Shure (SM7B) mic, Focusrite Scarlett Interface, Cloudlifter Mic Activator and I'm currently using Ableton Live 10.
