Hi, my name is Floor Polder, dutch flute player that work's with Brazilian/Jazz in Rio de Janeiro since 2018. I work for more that 20 years with music and I have a master degree for flute at UFRJ. I compose and arrange for bands and record as a session musician with voice and all kinds of flutes, bamboo and flute in G .
To have a flute in your recording is like whipped cream on pie, it gives that extra touch to your song!
With a bachelor in Latin / world music and a master degree of the University of Rio de Janeiro UFRJ, I'm specialised in Brazilian jazz music, I record any kind of Brazilian song for you bossa nova, xote, samba baião name it and I record it with melodia and improvisation. I can write/ compose any kind of arrangement for the flute for your songs. I love the sound of the flute in Brazilian music with a jazz influence, but I played in pop, funk/soul, salsa, jazz cape verdean, Tango, Indian and other kinds of world music Band. I sing in my own band and record songs since 10 year! I'm happy to hear about your project!
