A: I wrote all of the music for a primary school singing competition. It leveled the playing field on composition, and the kids had a great time interpreting the music as their own. It was great fun competing against myself

A: Soca music

A: Poetic, romantic, but also exacting
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be open to change. Sometimes the music leads you to an unexpected place. You have to be willing to go with it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I do alot of caribbean genres, as it is my place of origin. I also do pop, jazz and blues.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Composing both lyrics and melody. My singing is not half bad either.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Poetry. Structure. Melodies that are unique.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Give me an idea. Written and/or melodic. And I can turn it over in my head. I hear the music and words, and it comes out until it makes sense.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: As a writer I do not have much of a studio. But I do have a condenser microphone and sound absorbers to record clean vocals.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I am a song writer. I can either edit lyrics already written, provide a melody for written lyrics, lyrics for an already co posted melodic line, or start from scratch. I have a good ear for what sounds correct and like to be a little different. I am also a bit of a poet which comes across in my lyrics.
