Grosvenor Road Studios
Recording, Mixing & Mastering
The largest recording studios in the West Midlands, recently redeveloped following over a quarter of a million pounds of National Lottery funding. This historic studio, operating since the late 1940s, is where the original sound effects for Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds and Stingray were recorded.
Grosvenor Road Studios (GRS) is Birmingham’s oldest music studio and the second oldest independent recording studio in the UK.
There are two good sized control rooms, two large live rooms (including one at 88Sqm) and a project/programming suite available for dry hires, live recordings, voiceovers and more.
Engineers at Grosvenor Road Studios have a wealth of knowledge and skills in addition to a wide-ranging local network of experienced musicians, producers, programmers and vocalists.
With rooms suitable for pre-production, mixtape, mixing, and small band live or multitrack recordings, as well as intimate spaces for songwriters, composers and beatmakers, Grosvenor Road Studios works well for solo or orchestral recordings, with the largest studio able to accommodate up to 50 people.
Online Software mixing and mastering also available.
